World Cancer Day : 4th February 2015

World Cancer Day

Chapter in association with General Hospital Ernakulam conducted a Cancer Awareness Seminar at Sree Saraswathi Vidyanikethan Secondary School Elamakkara on 4th Feb 2015 for teachers of the school.

Dr. Ushasree Warrier, Consultant, Department of Oncology, General Hospital Ernakulam was the speaker of the program. 50 teachers of the school participated in cancer awareness seminar.

Dr. Dhalia, Deputy DMO Ernakulam also took class on cancer awareness.

Dr. Ushasree Warrier explained in detail about the disease awareness mainly relating to women

The meeting was chaired by chapter President JFM Sujil TK and coordination was done by JFM Dr. Harish Kumar, Jc Sankar and Jc HGF Asha Sankar

REPORT OF ACTIVITIES ON INTEGRITY DAY

INTEGRITY DAY that makes us feel celebrate the quality of honesty and mortality upright in our life which adds value to our life, the society and the country that we belong. 

The Integrity Day celebrations and pledge taking by students of the school was conducted at Government Higher Secondary School Edappally premises on Inetgrity Day,  2^nd February 2015, at 9.30am

The inspiring message by JFM Smitha Harish, Zone Director Jayceerettes / Lady Jaycees spoke on the foresightedness of Henry Gissenbier the founder Junior Chamber International, and detailed on the strong belief that in some time of tomorrow we will stir the people towards the establishment of a permanent and everlasting world peace

The importance and primary objective of celebrating the INTEGRITY DAY were effectively delivered through touching words filled with motivational stories was done by JFD Sudeep Sebastian, LOM Treasurer.

80 students of 9th and 10th standard attended the program apart from 15 faculties of the institution. LOM President JFM Sujil T K chaired the meeting and LOM Secretary Jc Sankar  G Nair proposed vote of thanks and integrity day pleasantries were distributed to every student participants for inspiration.  Past president, JFM Sajy M Varghese and Jc Asha and Jcrt Rekha actively supported in successful completion of this fantastic national program of JCI India.
